I've been doing photography for over 65 years, beginning in the late 1950's, with my father's Twin Lens Reflex camera. I also experimented with the 8mm movie camera that he bought sometime around 1960. Later, I experimented with a Polaroid instant camera, and various small film cameras.
My first 'serious' camera was a Yashica-D Twin Lens Reflex. I shot color and black/white film, and color slides. The large 120 film size produced fantastic slides.
My first 35mm camera was a Yashica TL-ElectroX that I purchased shortly after joining the US Navy. I shot mostly Kodak Ektachrome slide film.
My next 35mm camera was a Canon AE1-P, again shooting slide film for the most part.
In 1994, I purchased a Canon EOS A2E and also one of the Rebel models.
In 2010, I purchased my first digital camera, a Canon 50D. I now own 2 of the 50D's, 2 7D's, 2 5D's, a 60D, and a Canon C200 video body. I have lenses 10-800mm, all lenses are Canon.
Most of my photography is nature-based ... Wildlife, landscapes, wildflowers, insects and spiders, macro, and more. I live in Billings Montana which gives me great access to many wonderful photography sites including the fantastic views along the Chief Joseph and Beartooth Highways.
